We love music festivals and its really interesting how there’s quite a few pretty amazing music festival around the world once you start looking. One of them is the Zermatt Unplugged Festival, which is a jazz festival that takes place on the snow capped mountains of the Pennine Alps in Switzerland. The jazz festival takes place from 8 to 12 April 2014 and is one of Europe’s biggest acoustic festival now in its 7th year running.
Headlining the festival is Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, who will perform a series of free lunchtime concerts known as Extreme Jazz. The five-piece jazz band will play at the Gandengghutte, which perches on a ride in the Matterhorn surrounded by dramatic peaks. Expect a one-of-a-kind showcase by the jazz band as they make their way to the top of the peak.
