We caught the travel bug HARD since we last wrote about the top travel apps. Because we’ve been spending so much time lately planning last-minute trips, we thought we’d share the best apps we’ve come across to make booking a last-minute deal a piece of cake (and give you more spending money).
Daily Hotel

Being the queen of being last-minute to everything sometimes pays off. Get 70 percent off luxury digs with Daily Hotel if you are in the mood for a snap-decision escape. Founded by brothers Ryan and Jimmy Shin, the app has up to 2,000 hotels to pick from. This week’s deals include the W Hotel (Hong Kong) going for HKD$2,679 instead of HKD$3,200, and Carlton City Hotel (Singapore) going for HKD$1,202 instead of HKD$1,656. Win.

Hotels Around You

If you’re on the road and in need a room, then check out Hotels Around You. Deals are updated every 30 minutes and it’s a great app for finding a room if you want to stay overnight or for eight hours to catch up on rest. Most of the hotels are located in India with coverage of all the major cities like Delhi and Mumbai.
Hotel Tonight
Founded in San Francisco, Hotel Tonight burst into the hotel scene in 2010 and we think it’s a great first stop to scout for discounted last-minute hotels. You can do same day bookings or reserve upto a week in advance.

With around 15,000 hotels covering the US as well as London, Sydney and Melbourne, you’re definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to picking out your next destination.
Hotel Quickly
The cleanly designed and easy-to-use app Hotel Quickly is another one completely unafraid of serious travel bargains. Our research saw the Gino Feruci Villa (Bali) for HKD$587.70 instead of HKD$1162, Hundred Stay (Tokyo) for HKD$1,611.50 instead of HKD$1962 and Skypark Dongdaemun for HKD$474 instead of HKD$789.

Originally, Hotel Quickly covered most cities in Asia but they’ve branched out and now you can find deals in Australia and New Zealand.
Last Minute

The name says it all. Last Minute focuses on last minute deals for travellers, also covering car rentals, cruises and packages. If you need some inspiration for your next holiday, check out the deals section of the site, packed with plenty of amazing offers like London to Toronto flights for HKD$3000 and two nights in Venice flying from London for HKD$1350. Yes, please!
