A Knightsbridge hotel fit for the Queen.
With all eyes on London this summer for the Olympics 2012, it seems only fitting that the newest Bulgari Hotel and Residences was to open in the prestigious neighborhood of Knightsbridge. The name Bulgari has always existed synonymously with luxury and nothing less so it’s no surprise that the crème de la crème of international celebrities and socialites such as Isabella Rossellini, Florence Welse and Li Xiao Ran were invited to the opening.
Bulgari’s heritage is evident, with a hotel aesthetic that pays tribute to the brand’s silversmith origins. The 85 rooms and suites are draped in textiles and furnishings made exclusively for Bulgari by Italian manufacturers, coupled with sleek lines and refined interiors. The silver theme is also carried through to their bar and restaurant, the later of which is accessible via a sweeping silver staircase. How’s that for grand?
Facilities include a spa consisting of 11 private treatment rooms, a spa suite, 25m pool and a gym. All of this is crafted from onyx, teak and Vicenza stone with green and gold mosaic. It’s basically two mind-blowing floors of pampering and indulgence. For those seeking a little more culture, the hotel also offers a luxurious 47-seat private screening room with cinema-quality sound and vision and a choice of over 500 new and classic films.
