3D printing is going to revolutionise the way we shop for clothes. Get ready for instant well fitted clothes in your exact size and measurement you can download from a printer. This is technology that is currently in development and ready to hit homes at the end of this year. 3D printing company – Electroloom is the world’s first 3D printer capable of printing non-woven fabrics into complex structures. This company is  making it possible to print out fabric based dresses from a standard design or your own design from a 3D printer.

Aaron Rowley, entrepreneur and founder of Electroloom predicts that by the end of 2014, we could be printing our own clothes; and these wouldn’t be like the uncomfortable stiff looking ones you’ve seen on the runways, but actual comfortable clothes you could wear every day from your computer.

The printer is currently still in its prototype phase and so far has managed to print out polymer fabric into sheets and tubes. The company hopes to be able to churn out more complex designs and shapes by the end of 2014.
