Many new designers have emerged over the past few years, fusing with idea of high-end luxury with a contemporary twist. So after rounding up the best of new jewellery designers in 2015, we’ve scoured Hong Kong to find some of the latest jewellery designers in town. For this guide, we’re focused on affordable well made jewellery pieces, so no we’re not talking fine jewellery here but well designed fashionable pieces that you can wear everyday. Brought to you from France, the French brand started in 2013 with everything made from their home country by hand. Drawing inspiration from travels, the designs include everything from fine feminine bracelets coated in gold to elegant rings to classy necklaces with enamel. Described as a Scandinavian with an English twist, Charlotte is a based in London with designs influenced by her native roots. The jewellery line consists of minimalist designs with a focus on geometric designs. Cye Design

With a background in art and design, Cye Design was launched in 2005 by Young-Eun Choi in Seoul. Pieces are inspired by rare gemstones and architecture. Based in Hong Kong, Founder Nina Pahlman was born in Finland but relocated to the concrete jungle in 2006. Natasha Schweitzer

Since its inception in 2014, the Natasha Schweitzer business has been a family affair. Founded by sisters Natasha and Alexandra Chipman, daughter to Australia’s first female jewellers Marion Schweitzer, the brand success with Natasha and Alexandra’s first-hand experience in the industry from a young age. The designs are carefully handcrafted with a focus on sculpture, architecture and asymmetrical clusters.

Founded by Claudine Bertinotti Lenoble in 2003, Nocturne is a rising star on the horizon of British jewellery design. By using traditional Asian techniques and hand-made methods by their in-house artisans, the results are stunning. There’s an unexpected mix of materials like semi-precious stone, woven leather, feathers and shells uses in all the designs. Overall, Nocturne brings high-end art to a more affordable level.

After working for some of the most prestigious jewellery brands on the market, Oumaima Tamarzizt debuted her eponymous brand, TAMARZIZT. The Tamrzizt stands for costume jewellery with a rock and roll twist. With influences by her rich Tunisian and Parisian heritage, the collects always result in a colour mix of colours, shapes and patterns. Despite launching the brand recently, Oumaima has already gained a dedicated group of social media followers.
