Farfetch.com’s Jose Neves in Hong Kong.
Last week, Jose Neves, founder of Farfetch.com was in Hong Kong to showcase their top boutiques to Hong Konger’s media and their online shoppers. Farfetch.com is a style portal that has brought together Europe and USA’s best designer boutiques all under one roof. All of the boutiques on farfetch.com are boutiques that have their own unique point of view in what they have hand-picked for their store.
We think this is a great idea and solves the problem of global shoppers to shop their favourite boutiques from around the world. It also allows these boutiques to get online and reach a global audience with without the hassle of developing and marketing their own sites.
Some of the brands that Jose Neves introduces to Hong Kong shoppers were: L’eclaireur from Paris, Ra from Antwerp, Hostem from East London, Curve from L.A, Tessabit from Lake Como, Italy, Dante 5 (Anna Dello Rossa’s store) based in Bari, Italy and Henrik Vibskov from Copenhagen. These stores are but only a few of the 120 boutiques that are on the site. Designer labels represented includes the more popular designer labels like Philip Lim, Alexander Wang, Celine, Chloe, Dior, Dries Van Norton, Gucci, and up and coming designers that are not available anywhere else.
