New York’s rag & bone opens its first Hong Kong store in ifc mall on the 2nd floor not far away from 3.1 Philip Lim. Now we our very own rag & bone store that stocks their popular ready-to-wear men’s and also women’s collection, rag & bone Jeans, accessories and footwear. Founded by New York based, British-born friends David Neville and Marcus Wainwright  is known for their  sensibility, signature clean silhouettes , basically wearable clothings that melds classic tailoring with an edgy understated New York aesthetic.

Rag & Bone started in 2002, when David and Marcus was inspired to make well constructed clothes that they and their friends would want to wear. Putting a great emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, the brand quickly found traction when it become a finalist in the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Vogue Fashion Fund contest. They won the CFDA’s emerging talent award in 2007 and Wainwright and Neville were named best overall menswear designers in 2010. Since then the pair has expanded the brand with freestanding retail stores in New York, London, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Seoul, South Korea and most recently in Hong Kong and distribute to over 57 countries.

The 1,200 square foot store in Hong Kong is a juxtapose of hard and soft elements where industrial effects are combined with steel framing, solid wood double doors, dark-stained, chevron oak flooring and wooden millwork, its hip and has a very New York vibe.
