Here is our update from Mong Kok on Saturday.

As we posted on Friday, FIFA World Cup champ Luca Toni, came to Hong Kong on Saturday to open the first Lotto concept shop in Hong Kong. As you can see from the photos below it was an exciting and crazy time in Mong Kok – well more so than usual!

With its growing passion for sports, especially football, Asia is a key market for Lotto, and it intends to expand its presence in the region further during the coming years. To achieve this goal, the company recently established a joint-venture company to oversee the distribution of its products in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China through offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing. In addition, it has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Hong Kong to oversee the sourcing, production, planning and R&D of its apparel and accessories collections.

Located at Shop No. 60-64, G/F, Soy Street, Mongkok, the Lotto football concept shop will not only showcase Lotto’s soccer performance products, especially its acclaimed ZHERO GRAVITY, ZHERO EVOLUTION and ZHERO LEGGENDA football boots, all of which have been inspired by the company’s dedication to the pursuit of lightness, speed and maximum precision in football shooting, but also its lifestyle collection with shoes, apparel and accessories.

“I’m delighted to be in Hong Kong at this important Lotto event, and I’m also deeply impressed by the tremendous energy of the city and its people, as well as their love of football,” commented Luca Toni who also met many of devoted local fans at Futbol Trend, dined with three super fans and spoke at a press conference during his whirlwind one-day visit.

“Since 2003, Lotto has given me tremendous support in developing my career; and I’m proud and honoured to be asked to open its first football concept shop in Hong Kong as I know it represents a great leap forward in Lotto’s global expansion and development as one of the world’s premier sportswear brands,” he added.
