Clarins’ new counter opens in New Yaohan, Macau

Yes, we are reporting about the opening of a cosmetic counter – not because its a slow news day but because Clarins went through the trouble to hydrofoil us out to Macau for the occasion.

Mr. Christian Courtin-Clarins, Chairman of Clarins Group, flew in especially from Paris for the ribbon cutting of the official opening of the new Clarins counter in the New Yaohan mall in Macau.

He was joined by Mr. Laurent Lautier, Regional President, and Mr. Damien Tonneau, Hong Kong and Macau President. Celebrity guests included three beautiful models Mandy Lieu, Marie Zhuge and Alice B.

Kick starting off the ceremony Mr. Clarins said that a good speech was like a nice short skirt, “short enough to show off what needed to be shown off and long enough to hide what needed to be hidden.” True to his word the CLARINS chairman kept his speech short- “We take particular interest in the Macau market. As tourism continues to grow here at rapid rates, so does the demand for luxury goods and beauty products. We know that this means an increased demand for CLARINS products. Our new counter re-design has been unveiled here to coincide with the introduction of a wider variety of products. We know our customers and we strive to meet their individual needs.”

The CLARINS counter is located on the ground floor of The New Yoahan Mall which is next door to the Emperor Hotel.
