The Axel Vervoordt Gallery is set to show works by the Gutai artist Kazuo Shiraga from August 28 through to November 15, 2014.
Shiraga is one of the leading members of the Gutai Art Association, a Japanese post-war avant-garde movement (1954-1972). The artist invented his own form of action painting using his body, where his paintings can be appreciated by the pure act of seeing.
