Exhibiting at Galerie Huit from 16 June, A Postcard from Persia is a group exhibition of five emerging Iranian contemporary artists; Ali Esmaeilipour, Darvish Fakhr, Jamshid Haghighat Shenas, Farsad Labbauf and Mohsen Jamalinik. These artist are currently based in four cities around the globe: Brighton, New York, Singapore and Tehran.
An interesting exhibition that represents a group of Iranian artists perceptions of their native land. It gives us an understanding of the religious beliefs and traditional values of Iran from the personal experiences and observations of artist who are living away from their countries but continues to hold values from their home country.
