Poly Auction a branch of China’s largest state-own auction house will be holding their Spring Auctions at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Auction will take place from 6 to 7 April 2015 with previews held from 4 to 5 April. Poly Auction is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, have 11 offices around the world and records the largest auction transaction of Chinese art in the world.
At the auction over 2,400 auction lots will go on sale over 12 sessions, worth an estimate sale value of HK$800 million. Categories covered include – Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, Jewels and Watches, and Wine.

Famous art pieces that are museum-quality works from masters such as Wu Guanzhong, Zao Wou-Ki, Kazuo Shiraga, Zhang Daqia, Xu Beihong, Qi Baishi, Lu Yanshao, Li Keran are going on auction. There will also be a few first-time items on auction, including an Armand de Brignac 15L brut bottle and the first auction of Hermès handbags and accessories (over 50 auction items selected from around the world).
