Floor 5 1/2 - Mode of By-Production
By   /  August 4, 2014

FLOOR 5 1/2 is an experimental art space located in Kwai Chung, next to the local artists’ community.  The space is founded to provide a platform for production, exhibition, curation and exchange.  FLOOR 5 1/2 is set to curate a series of short-run exhibitions examining the idea of art production and its connectedness to human society.  The inaugural exhibition, titled Mode of By-production, will run from the 9th to the 17th of August.

Mode of By-production is a group exhibition showcasing installations, videos and sound works by young forces including Lewis Lau, Tsi Kwan Lau, Gabriel Leung, Cam Wong and Morgan Wong.  The exhibition intends to draw viewers’ attention to the process of artistic productions, rather than to evaluate the time used or the end product created.
