Martha Zuik is an Argentinian artist who’s extensive range of stunning surrealist landscape are intense, dreamy and expressive. Zuik has an extensive body of work is comprised of paintings, drawings, graphic works and sculpture but it is her abstract paintings of imaginary worlds and images that are captivating. Her work display the dexterity of a mature painter who has perfected her technique over the years and has drawn references from Fauvist artists like Matisse and Cezanne.
Martha has been exhibiting since 1959 when she joined the international artist group “Fantasmagie” founded by Belgian artist, Aubin Pasque. She has exhibited alongside artist like Picasso and Margritte with the group and her paintings are sought after by collectors in Argentina, US and Germany. Her exhibitions are supported by the Royal Prince and Princess of Spain and she is represented by Puerta Roja gallery in Hong Kong. Her work is included in private and public collections at the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, and International Development Bank in Washington D.C.
