Affordable Art Fair is back with over 115 local and international galleries participating this year. So if you’re planning to own your first piece of art – or add to the collection – then you won’t want to miss this. Prices range from $1,000 to $100,000, and a variety of styles are up for sale with everything from traditional ink painting, abstract canvases, sculptures and photography. Or why not just make it a weekend outing to immerse yourself in some of the most unique collections of art and activities in stored.
Make sure to check out the Young Talent Hong Kong exhibition, featuring new names in art, as well as the large-scale installations and the Creative Hub where there will be various artistic activities you can take part in. This year, there is also a fun speed yoga live drawing by Russian artist Sergei Rozhnov who showcases a unique way of expressing himself through art and yoga.
There is also #ForArtsSake Friday Charity Evening happening on Friday 18 May from 6pm to 10pm, an evening of artist performances and music to help raise awareness for mental wellbeing and art therapy in support of Affordable Art’s charities. More activities are scheduled during the fair so check out the programme here.
Early bird tickets for the fair are available at $120 until 1 May 2018 while pre-fair tickets are available at $150 from 2 May to 17 May. Regular tickets are $165 from 18 May onwards. Get them here.
