Celebrity Style Watch: Katherine Jenkins

Katherine Jenkins Celebrity Style Watch
By   /  May 20, 2014

Newly-engaged classical singer Katherine Jenkins shows us how to rock lady-like chic in this gorgeous navy dress with a little Peter Pan collar. Navy is a great alternative to black and Katherine lets the dress do the talking without cluttering the look with too much jewellery. This dress is a good investment piece, as Katherine wears it with tights and ankle boots for the colder weather in UK, it can just as easily work for warmer weather — just wear it with nude legs and a killer pair of heels.

For a busy star like Katherine, a roomy tote is necessary. She has picked a perennial celebrity favourite, a Mulberry Willow Tote, to keep all her necessities as she zips around London.

We have picked this great dress by recently departed designer L’Wren Scott. Definitely an investment piece, this dress is great to wear for the whole year round. L’Wren Scott was always a “go-to designer” for celebrities as she understood the modern woman and the importance of the silhouette. This dress could work for most body types.

Like Katherine, we love the Mulberry Willow tote and have also opted for the super versatile black leather option. Obviously if you want a pop of colour, you could pick a more colourful tote.

How chic are these Jimmy Choo heels? The green snakeskin ankle strap adds a little bit of edge to the look. For a more classic ensemble, you could wear a standard pair of pumps or the perfect running around option of a cute pair of flats. We have picked a great pair also by Jimmy Choo.

Katherine leaves jewellery to a minimum (she needs to show off her engagement ring), and for our Butterboom pick we have gone for the super modern diamond midi-ring by Delfina Delettrez (a fourth generation member of the Fendi family who created her eponymous label in 2007).
