Celebrity Style: Hilary Tsui

By Butterboom Writers  /  October 9, 2009

She’s a model, actress and trendsetter all in one.

Hilary Tsui is not only a model, actress, businesswoman and designer but, to add to the already long list, a major trendsetter. For those not yet clued in to the who’s who of the Hong Kong entertainment scene, Hilary Tsui is the wife of Hong Kong popstar, Eason Chan. And, like most go-getting Hong Kong entertainers, Hilary has her fingers in many different pies, including the flourishing fashion scene. Co-owner of the Liger Store in Causeway Bay, she is savvy enough to stock pieces from avant-garde and upcoming designers like Yeah Right, TATA Baby, Andrew Crews and Terry De Havilland.

Squashing any rumours of trouble in paradise for the trendy couple, Hilary recently purchased a Chanel guitar for Eason along with a custom-made guitar case. Now you know who’s buying those Chanel limited edition guitar! Whether it’s taking her daughter Constance to school or being spotted at the hottest fashion event in town, Hilary always manages to look chic and cool, achieving just the right touch of femininity.

Known for her androgynous style, Hilary looks smart in structured shoulder blazers and skinny jeans. Although black is this stylista’s favourite colour, Hilary knows how to jazz up her outfits with attention-grabbing accessories which are far from dull. We absolutely love the black halter contrast dress she wore at Dsquared’s event, complete with engine red waist belt and matching clutch. A fan of Comme des Garcons, MMM, YSL and Prada, Hilary Tsui is a one to watch for what she wears.
