After managing watchmakers Matra (later sold to Seiko) and launching Mauboussin’s first watch campaign, in 2011, Richard Mille launched his own company based on 3 crucial principles; high-tech innovations, construction with mechanics and the best of craftsmanship. Since the launch, Richard Mille name has established itself as a leading watch manufacture with instantly recognisable designs. Inspired by sportsmanship and aeronautics, several timepieces have been designed specially for sports players including golfer Bubba Watson, Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa and tennis player Rafael Nadal. In addition, the company also sponsors a numerous sporting events including the famous racing event, Grand Prix.
