
IWC Schaffhausen, (IWC ) was founded in 1868 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones. Jones was a prolific and innovative watchmaker, he created the first watch for aviators with antimagnetic mechanism and was also the first to incorporate titanium and ceramic into timepieces. Their line of iconic watches; Aquatimer, Da Vinci, Ingenieur, Pilot’s Watches, Portofino and Portugieser are a collection of watches that are made with great craftsmanship and design .
IWC operated as an independent company for the longest time and was only recently acquired by the Richemont Group in 2000. opened Their first flagship store opened in Hong Kong in 2009 at 1881 Heritage, Tsim Sha Tsui.
