
Established in 1996 by duo Douglas Young and Benjamin Lau, G.O.D abbreviated for Goods of Desire is a retail store that sells unique lifestyle items and home accessories with a cheeky interpretation of Hong Kong design and culture.
Taking inspiration from the eastern lifestyle mixed with western culture and by injecting traditional images of Hong Kong with a creative twist into their products. Most of the designs are themed around old and new Hong Kong culture, turning ordinary mundane objects into unique pieces with a quirky Hong Kong feel.
G.O.D offer a range of lifestyle products ranging from home accessories, in-door furnishing, tableware, fashionable pieces and stationary. Some of the company’s best sellers include products with Chinese characters and local Hong Kong images printed onto slippers, cushions, tissue boxes, bed linen, old post letter boxes, gold fish painted ceramics and beanbags inspired by Chinese chess- all quintessentially Hong Kong!
