Yes, bikinis and swimsuits give you the chance to make a huge style statement on the sand/by the pool, but what if you err on the sporty side? Sukigi Swim is a range of swimwear designed for you active women out there – and they’ve opened a pop-up in Central so you can get your hands on some for the summer.

Sukigi Swim was created by sisters Suki and Gigi (get it?) in 2014.  The sisters were inspired by their love for spending alot of time outdoors – and on/in the water. The objective: to create swimwear in figure flattering cuts that combine sporty functionality and feminine style – using quality Italian fabrics that offer UV and chlorine resistance, naturally.

The result: we think the swimwear speaks for itself.

To introduce Sukigi Swim to Hong Kongers, the sisters have opened a summer pop-up store on 2 Elgin Street in Central (walk up Hollywood Road towards Elgins, opposite restaurant Ho Lee Fok). You can’t miss the store, decorated like a beach shack complete with giant pool floats and plastic tote bags. The summer store also stock hats, chic jewellery, temporary gold tattoos from local designer brand Kookii B, and US organic sunscreen COOLA – everything you need for the pool or beach.

The price:
Bikini sets from HK$773, swimwear from HK$850

Where to buy:
2 Elgin Street, Central, Hong Kong
