The Marion Ayonote Gold Conqueror Shoe

By Roxanne  /  July 9, 2014

Bold, roman inspired looks were seen all over the SS14 runways and we’re loving this pair of Marion Ayonote gold conqueror shoe.

Designed by Nigerian-born designer Marion Ayonote, the Marion Ayonote Conqueror Gold shoe is both feminine and bold.  The heeled sandals are handmade in England from fine calf leather with a lambskin lining. We love how flattering and comfortable the intricate design is on the foot. And that it has a cleverly placed cord that adjusts panels to hug and support the proportions of different feet – perfect for navigating Hong Kong’s tricky landscape.

Ayonote honed her craft at London’s prestigious Cordwainers College and has shown her collection at the Best of British showcase alongside Paul Smith, Janet Reger and others. She has made a significant impact within the fashion industry, and received a special recognition award from Ovation Magazine as Africa’s top shoe designer. Ayonote was listed as one of the top 50 most influential female designers in the UK by the Design Association. Since then, her designs have been picked up by a number of department stores in Tokyo and Osaka.

Hot Tip: If gold is not your thing, the design is also available in silver, black suede and yellow suede.
