Designer Profile: Camilla Elphick

Camilla Elphick is a young British shoe designer who’s playful shoes have garnered alot of buzz with the fashion press in just two seasons. The contemporary label is know for its playful twist on shoes, using bold colours and elements that will put a smile to your face and a sway to your walk.

She attended Parsons in New York and Cordwainers in London and also did stints at Nicholas Kirkwood, Sophia Webster and Charlotte Olympia to gain industry know-how from these established shoe designers. For her graduate show collection, her shoe collection titled “So Bad, It’s Good” inspired by PEZ candy dispenser garnered widespread attention from the fashion press and caused her to launched her own brand. 

Camilla is absolutely passionate about her shoes. Her shoes are handmade in Italy and designed with a sexy curve below the ankle, a signature silhouette that elongates the leg so you look taller!  This fall her shoes are available exclusively at Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong. Check out her playful line of PEZ shoes which features heels that are shaped after the dispenser of the popular candy brand and a cartoon animal that’s stitched onto the back of the heel.  These candy coloured Pez shoes are playful and fun and are the perfect mood booster on a rainy day.
