Rolex unveiled its emblematic Oyster Perpetual collection at Baselworld 2014, demonstrating its renowned innovation and mastery in all aspects of the art of watchmaking. Among the designs that stand out in the collection are the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, a stunning rose-gold timepiece, and the Oyster Perpetual, a timeless design.
The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller is the most recent and innovative model boasting 14 patents in a 42mm Everose gold case. The highlights of this design are the dual-time zone display that is intuitive and easy to read, and the fluted Ring Command bezel for straightforward function setting. Guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres, it is a display of robustness, proportion, and elegance equipped with Calibre 9001, a self-winding certified Swiss mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.
The Oyster Perpetual in 31 and 36mm is Rolex’s updated version of its purest expression of the Oyster concept featuring new dials, the renowned Rolex waterproof Oyster case, and the self-winding Calibre 3130 Rolex Perpetual movement known for its precision and reliability. The heart of the watch, the oscillator, has a blue Parachrom hairspring patented that is manufactured by Rolex in an exclusive alloy of niobium and zirconium to offer great stability when exposed to temperature variations.
