Montblanc has added two new timepieces to its popular Bohème Collection that centred around the idea of fine watchmaking with elegance and femininity. The Montblanc Bohème Moongarden, is a timepiece inspired by the moon and the seasons it influences.
The Moongarden was developed at the brand’s Swiss Le Locle workshops in the Jura Mountains. The timepiece indicates the 12 names of the different moons of each month instead of the traditional name of the month. For example, there is Ice moon and Snow moon for mid-winter, and Harvest moon for October. It also offers a Day and Night indication via the moonphase disk at 6 o’clock. During the day, the disk is light blue with a golden sun while at night, the disk is dark blue with a golden moon and stars.
The watch is powered by an automatic MB29/17 movement and offers 42 hours of reserve. Its sapphire crystal caseback showcases this movement clearly while a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial. A sprinkling of diamonds adorn the bezel with a Montblanc diamond on the crown.
The strap is interchangeable – you can swap a black alligator strap for a bi-coloured calf strap in seasonal hues: dark brown and khaki for autumn, nude and white for winter, grey and pastel blue for spring, and yellow and blue for summer. It is also available in a stainless steel version with a two-colour leather wristband.
