Joyce has launched Joyce Iconics, a collection of fashion pieces from different brands that is considered essential to any woman’s wardrobe. Many of these are reinterpretation of pieces that have undergone an evolution. Each season, Joyce Iconics will features a key silhouette. For its launch, Joyce Iconics celebrates the classic Saint Laurent “Le Smoking” tuxedo and Anthony Vaccarello’s first collection with the house.
Visitors to the Joyce boutique in Central will be guided through the story of the classic “Le Smoking” and its style impact by SCAD alumni Kimberly Nelson and Professor Robert Meeder’s insight and curation. There will also be display works by artist Quentin Jones, a director, illustrator and photographer whose films and images have appeared in multiple magazines. Jones offers her own interpretation of Saint Laurent’s influence on women’s dressing and Joyce Iconics.
