A 160 carats diamond watch!
This year at Watch Brand Piazza 2011, Price Jewellery & Watch Company’s annual high-end watch exhibition, the star of the show was undoubtedly Vacheron Constantin’s Kallania.
Vacheron Constantin is the world’s oldest watchmaker, and in the Kallania they have created a timepiece the likes of which have never been seen before.
The Kallania is constructed from 186 emerald-cut diamonds and weighs in at a whopping 160 carats. Not only does the timepiece smash the world record for most carats, it also runs on the world’s thinnest mechanical movement in the world – the 1003 calibre – developed and manufactured in-house by Vacheron Constantin.
The Kallania retails for a whopping HK$76.8 million, how many South side apartments can you own with that?
