Tiffany & Co.’s new design director, Francesca Amfitheatrof launched the Tiffany T – a collection inspired by New York City’s power and energy. The graphic collection looks set to be an iconic collection for Tiffany with its strong lines made in Tiffany’s classic style that truly represents the qualities of the world’s greatest cities where art and culture are an important part of the city.
I wanted to create a symbol for modern life and its relentless energy that flows through New York and drives art and culture around the world. This is just the beginning of what I hope to accomplish.

About Francesca Amfitheatrof
Amfitheatrof is a trained jeweller and silversmith. She joined Tiffany & Co. in September 2013, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in the worlds of art and jewellery design, fragrance, furniture and interiors. She has also developed jewellery for other brands such as Chanel, Fendi and Marni. She has a background in art and was an art consultant, curator and advisor for major collections and private individuals.
The Tiffany T collection highlights graphic angles and clean lines in its 18 karat gold – rose, yellow and white – as well as sterling silver pieces. The strong, graphic form of the letter T is simplified, deconstructed and extended as a design form for the collection, which features hinged cuffs, minimal bracelets, chains, pendants, rings and earrings. Some pieces also feature a warm white and stark black ceramic in a new direction for the jewellery brand.
