New Chiodo watch gets desktop widgets promotion.

Gucci has announced the launch of a new section within their website fully dedicated to the introduction of the Chiodo watch. This interactive section has been developed with an “overlay” structure enabling you to browse the pages through different screen layers.

In addition, the section will include a number of download features, including a Chiodo widget. Thus proving that luxury brands are now gunning for a real online branding strategy. Developed for both Mac and Windows the Chiodo widget will be downloadable from Gucci as well as Yahoo and Apple.

The Chiodo watch is now on sale in Hong Kong and available at the Gucci shops at HK$6,650 for the steel case with white lacquered flinque dial, steel bracelet. HK$16,600 for the sterling silver case with white mother-of-pearl flinque dial and HK$62,900 for the big boy 18kt yellow gold case with white mother-of-pearl flinque dial with 18kt yellow gold bracelet
