British fashion designer Henry Holland is following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld and Zac Posen and has teamed up with Magnum to create a once off ice-cream inspired dress. The designer, a favourite of British It-Girls Alexa Chung and Poppy Delevigne, is known for his quirky prints and slogan tee’s, has created a Sixties-inspired dress in celebration of the ice-cream brand’s 25th birthday.
Holland designed a collared style dress and used fabric discs to replicate cracking chocolate. From idea to finished product, the style took around two to three months to produce and is worth HK$64,000.
Just 25 copies of the exclusive Henry Holland Magnum 25 dress have been made, with each one marking every year of Magnum. A competition to win a dress is supported by the #MagnumDressCode hashtag.
