Free WiFi Coming to Hong Kong

Yes, the dream is coming true – work in the park!

The Hong Kong government announced that they will spend HK$210 million on setting up wireless hotspots across Hong Kong at its parks, museums and community halls over the next 2 years. This means 200 venues in addition to what PCCW is doing in cafes and restaurants will be WiFi capable.

OK, knowing the Gov this will take a while but their commitment to this will create all new ways that Hong Kongers see and use the internet. For all you stock market investors, I’d say now was the time to load up on laptop manufacturer and wireless application provider stock.
