Chance are this will be bad, but we just love Donnie Yen.

Super-kung fu, actor/stuntman Donnie Yen (甄子丹) is as badass as Hong Kong’s martial arts scene gets right now and this week we get to see his newest flick Flashpoint which was released last week in China to a great reception:

“Flash Point,” an actioner starring Donnie Yen and helmed by Wilson Yip, has set the Chinese box office alight. Pic grossed RMB15 million ($1.98 million) in its first 3 days of release, according to its Hong Kong production and sales house Mandarin Films.

The film, given a wide 500-print release in China by Poly Bona last Friday, topped “Secret,” the directorial debut of Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou. “Secret,” a romantic drama, reached a cume of $2.44 million in its first week of release after opening on Tuesday, according to producer Edko Films.

See the trailer below, and tell us what you think the movie is about, but do you really need to know the story – you see a Donnie Yen movie for him. If you want to learn more about the fighting read an interview with him here.
