deTour returns to PMQ this year from 24 November to 4 December featuring a wide range of public exhibitions, workshops, cultural dialogues and pop-up events. Running concurrently with Business of Design Week, it adds an extra education and entertaining dimension that is suitable for all ages.
The theme this year is Game Changer and will feature more than 10 feature installations, around 10 pop-up exhibitions, one design dialogue per day, over 40 workshops in site, 60 satellite events scattered in town and up to 40 guided tours for the public.
VI System by local graphic artist group Trilingua featuring an unconventional circular ping pong table that allows visitors to play in any direction.
A joint exhibition titled Intense: Intense by typeface designers Joe Chang from Taiwan and Julius Hui from Hong Kong.
Bokusho, an interactive multimedia installation from Japanese conductor of design Shun Kawakami.
Hong Kong Design Studio Yeung Chin’s experimental installation Indigo Rain that explores fashion and nature via a random approach which progressively changes throughout the festival.
