Givenchy brings its Fall/Winter 2014 collection to life with its first short video aimed at the social media crowd.

The video is shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who’ve snapped pics for magazines like Vogue  USA and Dazed and Confused.

It was filmed under the direction of Givenchy’s Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, who took inspiration for his new collection from a 1940s female silhouette. The collection features pleated skirts, bow blouses, chiffon dresses adorned with butterflies, and leopard and snakeskin prints.

Tisci was inspired by the idea of inviting a few select models to a private party in his London hotel suite with a strict dress code of Givenchy Fall 2014. Models include Tisci’s muse Mariacarla Boscono, who has appeared in several Givenchy campaigns, Julia Nobis, Peter Brant II, Jamie Bochert, and social media darling Kendall Jenner in her fashion advertising debut.
