Elena Karavasili’s Chic Understated Luxury Bags

By Butterboom Writers  /  October 12, 2017

Looking for chic bag that not everyone’s carrying or instantly recognisable? You’ll be glad to discover Elena Karavasilis minimalist and classical range of luxury handbags. Armed with fashion school training from Parsons School of Design New York and London College of Fashion education, Elena taps onto her Greek heritage, love for architecture to create her own handbag label in 2015.

A fan of simple patterns, mono colours and purity in design, Elena focuses on the beauty of textures, materials and geometry for her range of handbags. Her collection of subdued colour palettes, architectural-inspired designs, symmetry and use of quality materials like nappa leather, pony skin, nubuck from Italy and Dionysos marble from Greece ( left untreated for a more pure appeal) makes every piece of her design stands out without too much frills and fuss.

We love how despite using muted tones and monochromes, Elena’s handbags still stand out as striking pieces, especially when set against a simple evening dress. Perhaps it has something to do with her love for architecture,  “looking at architecture and how it transforms a city and shapes how people move around it. I also am really inspired by the materials that I use and try to showcase their features in what I create.”

We think you will be pleased to discover Elena Karavasili structural design bags that’s is in every sense feminine and luxe. Check out what we’re bring to the London Designer Pop-up Store 16-22 November now at our online store. Limited pieces only, reserve them now!
