Clean, precise silhouettes that allow the accessories to shine.
In contrast to many of the other designers presenting at Milan Fashion Week, Salvatore Ferragamo‘s collection for Fall Winter 2013-2014 was sleek, minimalist and precise. Unfussy, masculine inspired outerwear, suits and separates made up the basis of the collection. Standout pieces were the graphic and sculpted bags and shoes.
The collection as a whole was reductionist; clean lines and an even cleaner palette of white, black and grey. Ultimately, these clothes are some of the most wearable around, never detracting from the rest of the outfit or accessories, but quietly holding their own thanks to their beautiful tailoring. In other words, exactly what you hope for in a designer piece.
