Rising star Jonathan Anderson to design a capsule collection debuting in Spring 2013.
Versace‘s premier diffusion line and younger, more accessible face, Versus, has announced that it is to collaborate with up-and-coming designer Jonathan Anderson. Anderson is behind the J. W. Anderson brand and is the name on everybody’s lips right now.
Recently named as winner of the Emerging Talent Award at the British Fashion Awardshis capsule collection will draw inspiration from an iconic photograph from a Versus advertising campaign in 1996, which plays with the relationship between a boy and a girl. We can’t wait to see what he’ll come up with.
This collaboration is the first in a series that are set to reshape the position of the brand under Creative Director Donatella Versace to represent fun, contemporary, fresh fashion at the forefront of the industry. The collection will be presented in March or April of next year and will include both men’s and women’s ready to wear and accessories.
