Chloe Fall 2009

Chloe gets it right for Fall with lots of wearable pieces to covet.

Design house Chloe has seen a few designers come and go recently. This time, with Hannah MacGibbon at the designing helm, Chloe’s fall collection took on a firmer look for fall. MacGibbon had previously worked with Phoebe Philo from 2001 to 2006.

Cuts were tame and classic, accented by big details like blanket coats, pleated pants and popular high-waisted silhouette.  Electric satin coloured pieces against muted tones looks very chic and darling flats lent a girlish quality to even the most sophisticated suits. Evening wear gowns were a flutter with ruffles and took on an easily elegant vibe that Chloe is so known for.

Highlights from the collection:

  • high waisted pants
  • voluminous oversize wool coats
  • electric colours against solid colors like khaki, navy and grey
  • ruffles in soft pale colours

Looks we love:
