Alldressedup Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection

The new collection embraces the classic ’40s.

We first came to know about the Audi Fashion Festival 2011 Singapore from alldressedup’s founder Tina Tan-Leo whom we interviewed just a couple of months back this year. The Singapore folk art-inspired label has remained on our radar ever since with their strong sense of style and, once again, the alldressedup Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection is nothing short of fabulous.

The ’40s are revived in the form of fitted coats, tweed jackets and figure-flattering silhouettes. To complete the look, models had curled bangs, red lips and wore calf to knee-length knit socks in chunky platform sandals. Generally speaking, even though the collection is defined by the retro era, an eclecticism is evident and not just in terms of mood but also palette which runs the gamut from intense to muted tones.

However, far from being dated it’s a collection that the modern woman will want to wear and we can already see ourselves in the flare skirts, feminine dresses and relaxed jumpsuits. Statement-making bags and necklaces caught our eyes from afar too!
