Club Monaco launched their summer beach collection inspired by the sights, sounds and culture of the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula. Known for their clean, bohemian vibe, the brand took this theme to heart by hosting a beach party at Cococabana restaurant on Shek O beach.
Their Pop-up Travel Gallery at Cococabana featured pictures taken from travel journeys by taste-makers like French fashion photographer Matthieu Belin, Geneva Vanderzeil, founder of “A Pair & A Spare” blog, and Piera Chen, writer for Lonely Planet Hong Kong and China Guides.
Guests arrived in cute mini Volkswagon trucks and were entertained with a live band and screening of short movies by Emmanuel Benbihy – Paris, je t’aime and New York, I Love You. Keeping in theme, a taco stall served tacos and other Mexican fare, as well as ice popsicles and margaritas.
For those who didn’t make it to the beach party, the Travel Pop-Up Gallery has moved to Club Monaco’s Queens Road Central store.
