Christing C S/S17 Collection

By Butterboom Writers  /  April 15, 2017

Known as the brand for wandering souls and wild adventurers of the world, Hong Kong designer Christing C is very fluent in the language of bohemian chic. In general, Christing generally draws inspiration from travels in exotic locations around the world, from white sand beaches to cluttered farmer’s markets, and peaceful mountain vistas.

Christing does have a knack for styling, but she knows how to design and support sustainability by sourcing prints from small family factories. For Spring, we see an eclectic mix of vibrant prints and vaguely bohemian references for the city women moving between cocktail hours to dinner.

Some of the highlights were the flirty designs made from light silks and covered in print. We’ll be racing to nab the romantic kimonos with intricate patterns and the pretty floral dresses with ruffles which would look good paired with ankle boots. If boho travelers are looking for a little festival inspiration, Christing has it wrapped up in her summer collection.
