Ralph Lauren supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month this coming October. Their Pink Pony range with the classic pink icon will be available at The Peninsula, Ocean Terminal boutique. Twenty-five percent of the sales from the products and fifty percent of the sales from the Pink Pony Soft Ricky Bag will be directed to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund to fund its breast cancer programmes.

Launched in September 2000, Pink Pony is Ralph Lauren’s worldwide initiative to raise funds and  reduce disparities in cancer care to medically underserved communities by making treatments available at an earlier and more curable stage. Ralph Lauren himself has been recognised for his involvement in the fight against breast cancer for many years now where he helped established the Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research at Georgetown University Medical Center and designed the first “target” logo for the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer” campaign.
