Gisele Bündchen is the new face of Chanel N°5 in the greatly anticipated advertising film “The One That I Want” (#THEONETHATIWANT). Gisele follows in the footsteps of famous leading ladies like Marilyn Monroe, Catherine Deneuve, Carole Bouquet, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tautou who’s fronted the Chanel N°5 campaigns.

The film which celebrates the iconic fragrance is produced and directed by filmmaker Baz Luhrmann. Set in various locations from Fiji to New York, the film tells the story of a modern woman who struggles to make time for everything. It ends with her listening to her desire and hopefully finding happiness. Says Luhrmann of the concept, “The Chanel woman can be with herself on the beach, can be with her child, can have an aspirational and fulfilling career, and at the same time she can have a true relationship; she can have romance. And in the end, the Chanel woman chooses love.”

The haunting soundtrack to the film is a cover of the popular “You’re the One that I Want” by Lo-Fang. Also starring in the film is Michiel Huisman, the popular actor known for his role as Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones.

About Chanel N°5

Chanel N°5 was first created in 1921 when Coco Chanel asked perfumer Ernest Beaux to create a fragrance that reflected her vision of modern femininity. N°5 was her lucky number and coincidentally, it was the fifth submission that was presented to her which made the cut.
