Gucci reveals its latest fragrance, Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, which is a subtle version of the Eau de Parfum edition with the same name. This lighter and more delicate makeover incorporates notes of radiant flowers and citrus like orange blossom, freesia, jasmine sambac, and Bulgarian rose with muskier notes of leather and patchouli for a feminine and modern fragrance. Like its predecessor, the fragrance takes its inspiration from the Gucci Première couture collection that debuted four years ago at Cannes Film Festival. The collection features luxurious evening gowns that were specially designed for top Hollywood stars like Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale and Li Bing Bing.
Scent and inspiration aside, the fragrance’s bottle also incorporates many details associated with Gucci Première. The neck of the bottle features a medal charm that is entwined with the House’s iconic horsebit while its cap bears the Première signature. The box that houses the fragrance showcases the brand’s interlocking GC Diamante pattern and its signature web stripe as well as the script signature of founder Guccio Gucci.
Blake Lively, who was the face for the Eau de Parfum version, once again fronts the campaign for this softer fragrance. She was photographed in an old Hollywood setting by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. As for her take on the fragrance, she has this to share: “This new fragrance announces that you have strength and are happy in your own skin. I really love that. It’s for the woman that I’ve always aspired to be. Every day.”
Prices range from HK$595 for 30ml, HK$780 for 50ml and HK$1,015 for 75ml
