The Madera Hollywood takes its name both from its location on Hollywood Road, and from its design, inspired by the golden age of Hollywood. The exterior neoclassical mural facade of Chaplin, Monroe, Hepburn and Sinatra sets the Hollywood theme. (we had previously though it was a club!), while the 38 one-bedroom suites are designed in the Hollywood Regency style, but modernised with bright colours, venetian plaster headboards and club leather chairs.
All rooms are designed and themed according to a movie star, so you can book the Chaplin, Monroe, Hepburn or Sinatra room. There is a lounge area complete with a vintage-style bar and fireplace where you can take a drink before heading out. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym so you can exercise whenever you like. We love the hotel for its distinct personality that screams glamour and fun.
