Hotel Rooms: Maison Moschino, Milan

By Butterboom Writers  /  August 6, 2010

A fairytale come true at Maison Moschino.

Developed from an 1840s neo-classical railway station on Milan’s Viale Monte Grappa 12, Maison Moschino is a place where guests are invited to enter into Moschino’s fantasy world of surrealism.

The Maison Moschino is located in a vibrant district in central Milan close to Corso Como and Corso Garibaldi. The hotel is in the vicinity of Milan’s most famous landmarks including the Santa Maria Delle Grazie, the Pinacoteca di Brera and Pinacoteca Ambrosiana art galleries and the Royal Palace.

The hotel is the brainchild and collaboration of Stefano Ugolini of Hotelphilosophy and Moschino designer, Rossella Jardini. Hotel Moschino is a 63 room hotel spread over 4 floors where each room is unique in its own right.

In one room, rose petals fall lightly from the chandelier while others cover the bed; in another, guests will feel as though they really are sleeping in the enormous ballgown that flowingly transitions from the bedboard down. The ‘Forrest’ room features an enchanted forests as the bed’s headboard and the ‘Little Read Riding Hood’ room a big bad wolf stuffed toy!
