Galaxy Entertainment Group has put a date to their much anticipated resort opening day.
Dr. Lui Che Woo, founder and chairman of the Galaxy Entertainment Group, says his ambition with Galaxy Macau was to create a resort that has a “World Class, Asian Heart” delivering top class service to cater to Asian travelers from around the world.
The new resort, which opens May 15, represents a HK$14.9billion investment for the Galaxy Entertainment Group and boasts a completely integrated resort property that includes the world’s largest manmade beach. The 52,000sm Grand Resort Deck houses the resort’s 350-ton white sand beach complete with waves that go as high as 1.5m! The Resort Deck will also feature several pools and private cabanas where private and corporate functions can be held.
Accommodation at Galaxy Macau is to be provided by three iconic Asian hotel brands – the Banyan Tree Macau, the Hotel Okura Macau and the Galaxy Hotel, which will become GEG’s flagship Cotai hotel.
Rounding out the luxurious resort setting is an extensive offering of Asian-themed restaurants and in-house entertainment, chief among which will be the ultra-exclusive China Rouge, a hybrid private membership club, performance theatre and bar designed in the setting of glamorous 1930s Shanghai’s club and conceptualized by renowned Hong Kong designer, Alan Chan.
We simply cannot wait for this big opening….
