With Japanese-inspired design, Hotel Nikko San Francisco is a place for Zen living in the heart of bustling San Francisco.

The hotel:
Hotel Nikko San Francisco is a 25-storey, 532-room hotel located right in the heart of San Francisco in Union Square, five minutes walk from the Metro/Bart Powell Station and close to all the shopping in Union Square and Chinatown. Although the hotel’s design and aesthetic is Japanese-inspired, Hotel Nikko is packed with all the elements of a large, top-notch hotel: an amazing Japanese fine-dining restaurant that serves a very nice breakfast buffet; a spacious, high-ceiling lounge with a grand piano; a popular nightclub-theatre; a full service Starbucks (this is San Francisco, after all); a ballroom; 13 meeting rooms and a gorgeous 15-metre indoor pool.

The Rooms:
This five-star hotel offers luxurious accommodation that combines Asian elegance with modern amenities. There are five room styles available, the most impressive being the Japanese Suite (see above) with its very own Japanese rock garden as a bathroom, complete with large granite soaker tub.

The Imperial Club rooms, located on the top floors, are fitted with additional amenities like Vibe televisions that can be viewed through the bathroom mirrors and luxurious rain showers. Imperial Club room guests have access to the club lounge that serves a light breakfast in the morning, and hosts a wine and beer reception in the evening. The rest of the rooms are comfortable and elegantly designed – suited to the business traveller.
