Sorry ladies, there’s no signs of the iPhone 7 yet, but we’re loving Apple’s latest smartphone incarnation, the iPhone SE. Apple goes back to practicalities with this ‘Special Edition’, paring back to a four-inch screen that reminds us of an iPhone 6, squeezed into a body of an iPhone 5.
So what’s so special about the iPhone SE besides the smaller size and lighter weight? In summary, the iPhone SE is a 5s but performs like a 6s. Just like the 6s, it comes with an M9 motion-tracking processor chip, a 12-megapixel camera with with a flash for the front-facing camera (great for low-light selfies). The most notable differences is the stronger battery life and the cheaper price point – both winning traits, in our book.
Whats the verdict?
If you’re looking for an upgrade from your iPhone 6s then this isn’t the phone for you. This one’s designed for those who still haven’t upgraded their old phones yet because they don’t like big screen or they simply don’t want to drop another $4,688 on an iPhone.
