There are plenty of fashion apps that launched over the past few years. To discover ones that we think will enhance our experience of fashion or take away the hassle of knowing what’s in your wardrobe in this case, here are 5 apps to help you organise your wardrobe, making it easier to plan for your trip to the beach, that anniversary dinner, or even just a quiet night in with the girls.

Cloth

Cloth is an iOS app that archives all of your favourite looks and lets you share your best outfits with your friends. Rather than sort out individual pieces of clothing, the app takes pictures of your outfits and categorizes them into sections like Everyday, Evening, Event, Vacation and Work. The in-app purchases include a weather option, letting you tag each outfit according to how sunny or rainy it is, as well as a built-in photo editor with filters.

Pose

Be inspired by fashion bloggers around the world with Pose, an app that lets you share your outfits as well as discover other people’s around the world.  The app gives you an insight into what your fellow fashionistas are wearing right now and highlights the styles you love the most. Getting started is quick and easy, just sign up through Facebook or log in separately. Each garment in your outfit can be tagged with categories and brands making it easier for people to find where you got your gorgeous look.

Netrobe

Netrobe is a handy little app that lets you photograph separate pieces of clothing and organize them into a digital wardrobe on your phone. Once you have everything archived, you can create outfits and categorize them for different occasions. You can also remove the background image after you’ve take the photo as well as choose from a database of clothes to find what you own. Netrobe makes packing for trips a breeze; with all your clothes, accessories and outfits already sorted digitally onto your phone, all you need to do is drag and drop them into your virtual suitcase.

Stylish Girl

Stylish Girl is another great closet management app that lets you keep all your clothes and accessories organized in the palm of your hand. Simply take pictures of your garments, sort them into tops, bottoms and accessories and create outfits for every kind of event. If you’re packing for a holiday, just tap the items and outfits you want to bring and sort them into the suitcase section of the app. Stylish Girl also includes a Wish Bag which is where you store items you want but don’t have…yet.

Closet

Looking for a simple way to plan your outfits in advance? Closet has the answer. Photograph your clothes, organize them into different categories and add them to the in-app calendar. Not only does this help you with the daily question of what to wear, it also helps you remember what you wore and when so you don’t repeat an outfit twice. You can even note down the price of the outfit for future reference. Tag your clothes by colour, as well as in need of mending or dry cleaning to suit your needs. This nifty app gives you a stress-free way to manage your wardrobe and plan outfits in advance.
